sourdough
Microbes.
Living organisms that invade the air.
They brought about a global pandemic.
They’re also the main component in what kept many house-bound humans occupied during that pandemic: sourdough bread.
This is a lyrical exploration of the living communities that hold us together, tear us apart, and knit us together again. The microscopic, breathing world around us, forever alive, forever growing, forever shaping the stories we live.
